Hixson Nagatani LLP Attorney Honors

Hixson Nagatani LLP is pleased to announce that three of its attorneys were honored in the 2014 Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine, published by Thomson Reuters and the publishers of San Francisco Magazine. Super Lawyers recognized Ray Hixson as a “Super Lawyer” in Northern California in employment and labor law. This honor is limited to those evaluated to be within the top 5% of lawyers practicing in the jurisdiction. Super Lawyers recognized Brian Nagatani and Mary Wang as “Rising Stars” in Northern California in employment and labor law (the magazine’s listing of top lawyers under the age of 40 or who have practiced for 10 years or less). This honor is limited to 2.5% of lawyers in the jurisdiction. The magazine evaluates attorneys based on a variety of criteria, including verdicts, settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, scholarly lectures and writings, education, employment background, and other achievements. Messrs. Hixson and Nagatani received the same recognition every year from 2009 to present, and Ms. Wang received the same recognition in 2013.

In addition, Messrs. Hixson and Nagatani have received the highest Martindale-Hubbell attorney peer review rating, which is the rating “AV” preeminent (5.0 out of 5.0). Martindale-Hubbell describes this as “a significant rating accomplishment – a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.”
